The dental microscope (surgical microscope) often plays a decisive role in the success of a root canal treatment.
The dental microscope enables “enhanced vision” and is therefore often the key to a better quality of diagnosis and treatment.
The most important field of application for the dental microscope is endodontics, i.e. root canal treatment or the treatment of the tooth interior with dental pulp.
The microscope also supports dentists in the detection of caries, tooth fractures or in distinguishing between discolouration and carious areas. In peridontal treatment, the dental microscope is often used for minimally invasive procedures.
Our endodontics specialist, Dr. Tanja Windeler, is trained to carry out highly precise dental microscope work.
